X88: How Your Movement Impacts Who You Are with Erica Hornthal

By July 1, 2022February 2nd, 2023No Comments

What if I told you that the way you move impacts the person that you are? And if you consciously begin to move differently, your life could change?

Studies have shown that smiling makes you feel happier. Or that moving sensually makes you feel more sensual.

So if our smiles and our posture can impact our moods, and our moods impact our disposition, and our disposition impacts our personalities, and our personalities impact what we believe we’re capable of, and what we believe we’re capable of impacts what we do in this life…. Then how can we harness the power of movement to become the best versions of ourselves?

That’s what we’re talking about today.

Our guest is Erica Hornthal. She is a licensed clinical professional counselor and board-certified dance/movement therapist and she’s known as the “Therapist Who Moves You”. Erica’s mission is to change the way people see movement with regard to mental health; moving people toward unlimited potential, greater awareness, and purpose by tapping into their innate body wisdom.

We Will Learn

  • How to identify where you hold you’re emotions in your body
  • How to identify your default movement patterns
  • How to challenge your movement in small ways to open yourself up for change
