Acknowledge Your Progress

“Take pride in how far you’ve come. Have faith in how far you can go. But don’t forget to enjoy the journey.” ~ Michael Josephson

Acknowledging your achievements, even in a small way, increases positive emotions such as self-respect, happiness, and confidence.

Research shows that the more you cultivate positive emotions, your psychological well-being and resilience improve and you can even increase your lifespan!

But above that, it’s fun and motivating!

Action Recap:

Think about where you were this time last year (or 5 years ago, or 10 years ago). What improvements have you made? What in your life is better? What goal are you a little bit closer to?

Bonus: I take this a step further and track my wins every single day. Make it a habit to acknowledge and reward your progress as often as possible.

What improvements have you made even just since since the start of this course?

Revel in it!

PS. I mentioned my favorite journal which a few of you have asked about. It’s the Self Journal by Best Self.
