Amplifying Love

Don’t forget to listen to the audio above ↑↑↑

The truest form of love is how you behave toward someone, not how you feel about them. ~ Steve Hall

Love is misunderstood to be an emotion; actually it is a state of awareness, a way of being in the world, a way of seeing oneself and others. ~ Hawkins

Love is a conscious decision, it’s not just an emotion that we stumble upon. In our daily lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the small faults of our loved ones, leading to feelings of annoyance or frustration. However, now that we are aware of our mind’s negativity bias, where it often steers our attention towards the things we dislike, we can make a conscious effort to counteract it by actively focusing on the positive.

Make a deliberate choice to celebrate the things you love about them, to actively bring attention to their positive qualities, to appreciate the small things they do that bring joy to your life. Find ways to acknowledge the things you admire about them, whether it’s their ambition, courage, or intelligence. Take time to appreciate the moments you spend together and recognize how lucky you are to have them in your life.

By making a conscious effort to focus on the positive, we can strengthen our connection with our loved ones and deepen the love we feel for them. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make our relationships more meaningful and fulfilling.
