Would you consider yourself mentally strong? Do you even know what that means?
Most people though equate mental strength with mental health. But according to the dictionary mental health is just the absence of a mental illness.
Often it’s our struggles that motivate us to develop mental strength because we realize that the pain of change is less than the way things are.
But here’s the thing, we don’t have to wait for things to get so bad that we’re forced to make changes in our lives. We can choose to consciously create our lives based on what we want out of it, rather than just based on what we don’t want to happen.
Well today we’re going to learn how to develop the mental strength that will help us lead our best lives.
Our guest is Amy Morin, a psychotherapist and the host of the Mentally Strong People podcast. Her books, including 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do, and are international bestsellers. She also gave one of the most popular TEDx talks of all time.
