Have you ever hung out with someone and by the time you were done just felt like your energy was completely drained for no reason?
Energy vampires are friends, family members or coworkers who literally zap your emotional energy. They feed off your emotional, or psychic, energy.
They come in all sorts of forms: The Constant Victim, The Blamer, The Drama Queen, and most dangerous, The Sociopath.
A lot of times, energy vampires are people who lack empathy. They may be charming but they’re also crafty. They pin their problems on everyone else, they one-up you, they shift the convo to themselves. And for you empaths out there, they are drawn to you like a magnet.
Our superpowers are completely disabled if we let energy vampires drain our life force.
Today’s guest is Dr. Christiane Northrup, author of Dodging Energy Vampires. She has spent years compiling all the latest research on this, including stories from her own life. And she’s going to show us how to spot them, dodge their tactics, and take back our own energy.
We will learn:
- How vampires use others’ energy to fuel their own dysfunctional lives
- Supertraits of narcissists you are blind to
- Techniques to leave these harmful relationships behind and start to heal
