Do you make time for creativity? Is it a priority for you?
If you’re not in immersed in the world of art, I’m going to guess you don’t and it’s not.
And I think it’s because of our beliefs about it. We think of artists and dancers and writers, but what we forget is that each and every one of us is a creator, whether we identify as one or not.
The definition of creativity is the ability to make or otherwise bring into existence something new.
Creativity is a key part of life. Whether you’re selling something, or you’re leading a team, or you’re trying to figure out something to do with your toddler on a Tuesday afternoon.
We are always creating. So you can neglect this fundamental part of being human, or you can lean in and get better at it day after day. And that’s what we’re talking about today.
Our guest is Todd Henry. He is an author, international speaker, consultant, and advisor. He is the author of four books, which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He was on the show back in episode 157 all about the hidden keys to motivation. And now he’s back to coach us through some daily practices to keep ourselves inspired and brilliant.
We Will Learn
- How to move toward ambitions instead of away from frustrations.
- How to identify your unique genius.
- Keys to being more intentional about the creative process.
