Have you ever felt like your own thoughts were working against you? That the stories you tell yourself about who you are, what you can achieve, and what’s possible might be holding you back from reaching your true potential?
If you have, let me tell you that you’re actually quite a few steps further than the average person.
Most people don’t even get this far. They don’t realize that it’s their own thoughts that are working against them. Instead, they just believe their thoughts to be true. They think, “I’m not smart enough, I’m too old, or too young, I don’t have enough time, I’m not cut out for that…”
And those beliefs keep them from even trying.
So how can we use our beliefs and the stories we tell ourselves as motivation rather than what holds us back?
That’s what we’re talking about today.
Our guest is Megan Hyatt Miller. As a renowned thought leader, coach, and author, Megan has dedicated her life to helping others understand the inner workings of their minds and use that knowledge to achieve their goals.
We Will Learn
- How our brains make narratives.
- Why those narratives can be both helpful and harmful.
- Megan’s 3-step method for rethinking our thinking when we’re stuck in a rut.
