Our guest is Emily Bashah, a renowned psychologist and co-author of the book “Addictive Ideologies: Finding Meaning and Agency When Politics Fail You.” With a background in forensic and clinical psychology, she works with therapy clients and evaluates individuals in prisons and courts. Her interest in growing extremism stems from personal experience, as her parents survived religious persecution in Iraq.
